Q: What is the Look in the Mirror™ Profile?
A: The Look in the MirrorTM Profile is a powerful feedback system to measure and recommend those traits that impact extraordinary       performance. The Profile is an online, research-based, multi-rater assessment exclusive to Align4Profit, and has been utilized since       2004, as a foundational tool in improving human interactions and profitable performance.

Q: What is the basis and background of the Look in the Mirror™Profile?
A: The profile is a research-based, multi-rater assessment that was originally formulated to be based on TA, it has been enhanced to       include the concept of Integrative Psychotherapy and more recently updated based on Align4Profit’s research of the ‘best’ Leadership       traits using the Delphi Method. The Profile operates as each of the following:
      • a theory of personality
      • a method to examine trends in performance
      • a model to assess ‘usual’ or ‘normal’ communication styles
      • a study of repetitive patterns of attitudes, perceptions, and behaviors
      • a comparative analysis of behavioral requirements for extraordinary performance* *based on Align4Profit research

Q: How will I receive my feedback?
A:
Your feedback will be delivered in a one-on-one session, by phone or in person, and/or in a group training session. It will be supported       by a Personalized Scorecard and Growth Plan. A scorecard is a graphic analysis, presented in a 4 dimensional comparative graph;

Q: Why can’t I see my results online?
A:
Our experience indicates that it is most effective to receive your results during a feedback session with an Align4Profit specialist. This       feedback system helps you understand and internalize your results.

Q: What resource tools are available based on my feedback?
A:
You will be given direction during your feedback session and your personal growth plan, filled with tips and tools to positively impact       growth. In addition you will automatically receive our Think Act Talk newsletter and get monthly Learning Lessons. When you       participate in coaching, or a training program with Align4Profit, extensive time will be spent on developing those behaviors that will       impact performance, communication and results.

Q: Who will see the answers I put into my survey?
A:
Because each profile is electronically processed to produce a summary of your results, no individual answers will be seen. As for your       overall personal results, they are only provided to you, unless you agree to share your results with other parties.


Q: Can my boss or colleagues see my survey answers?
A:
No. All information you send through the survey is completely confidential and is strictly used for your development purposes. The only       exceptions to this would be if you personally agree to share your answers, or if transparency of answers is part of a team       development process/agreement.

Q: How do you use my information?
A:
Your information is used to create a summary report which will identify individual strengths and opportunities. Additionally, with your       information, we are able to share with you:
      • How others view you;
      • How your self-perception compares with the perception of others;
      • How your profile compares to those of an extraordinary performer;
      • Your results provide information for customized development and training recommendations.
      • Your results establish a baseline, against which future progress can be measured.

Q: What is the definition of the term multi-rater?
A:
Multi-rater is a term that describes a feedback assessment that measures feedback from multiple avenues. In the case of the Look in       the Mirror™, the multi-rater is feedback collected in four (4) distinct ways: 1) from self; 2) from peers; 3) from others; and 4) from a       researched and base-lined measure of an extraordinary performer.

Q: What is the benefit of asking others to provide me feedback – How others see me?
A:
More frequently than not, our perceptions about ourselves varies somewhat from the perceptions of others. By inviting others that       know you to respond to the profile, you will be provided with insight and will discover much about the perceptions you leave behind.       Most importantly how these perceptions either become drivers to success or potential liabilities to extraordinary relationships.

Q: Am I required to designate people for the peer and the other group?
A:
A true multi-rater report requires feedback from multiple groups, plus your own ratings. Receiving feedback from two groups will give       you a more rounded sense of how you are being perceived.

Q: Who should I invite to complete the profile section for my peer group?
A:
The peer group consists of boss, co-workers, or team mates. See yourself through the lens of your peers, confirming a deeper       awareness about how the perceptions of others both contribute to and hinder personal advancement.

Q: Who should I invite to complete the profile section for my other group?
A:
The other group consists of direct-reports, customers, or personal contacts. See yourself through the lens of others, allowing you to       better understand if you are being perceived as you intend.

Q: Do I have to select four (4) people for each of the two groups selected, to complete the profile?
A:
Yes. To prevent any biased feedback, the Look in the MirrorTM Profile has been designed to include four people within a given group       (peer and other) providing their personal perspective and insight. The Profile needs at least four responses to meet the minimum and       to maintain anonymity.

Q: How long will it take the selected individual raters to complete the profile?
A:
Approximately 10 minutes. We recommend that you inform your raters about how little time is required to ensure a quick turn-around       in obtaining feedback.

Q: Is it necessary for the people I invite to complete the profile to have an email address?
A:
Yes. Our profile is an online assessment, automated and requires electronic communication. This further serves to maintain       confidentiality.

Q. If I don't get the minimum raters in each group (peer and other), will I still get a multi-rater report?
A:
No. A true multi-rater report requires feedback from multiple groups, plus your own ratings. In the event that you cannot obtain       feedback from others, you will only receive results from how you see yourself and a comparative graphic analysis from how your
       self-perception compares to an extraordinary performer.

Q: One of my peers, colleagues or direct reports dislikes me. We just do not get along. Should I ask feedback from someone else?
A:
This is a great chance to get real feedback, don’t limit yourself to sending the survey only to people who you know that are favorable       toward you. Be courageous and use this opportunity to get the truth. Remember, the results will be confidential.

You can log onto the Look in the Mirror™ Profile and see how many responses you’ve had. You will be able to send a reminder e-mail       or select a different person/s to provide you feedback.

A:
Once all information is received from your raters, the feedback session with Align4Profit can be scheduled. You might also consider       sending a thank-you e-mail to your raters for taking the time to provide you feedback.

Q: Do I need to keep the password you sent to me, or can I change it?
A:
You will need to keep your password, not forgetting to store both your user name and password in a safe place that will be accessible       in the future. Keep your login information, especially, because you will want to re-assess yourself after 3 – 6 months, to evaluate       progress. If you forget your password, you can contact us at info@align4profit.com, provide us with your contact information and we       will resend you your login and password.
